Girl stole money from her mothers' bank accounts and spent it entirely on her boyfriend.

Cynthia Cherop, a student of Eldoret Based Moi University, Kenya, has confessed that she stole SH70,000 from her Mother's two bank accounts which she lavished on her boyfriend. She pleaded guilty to stealing the money from the banks, Barclays Bank and Kenya National Bank.

She spent the money with Josephat Ng'ang'a, her boyfriend. She told the court that she also bought second hand clothes for her business. 

Her boyfriend and her were captured by Barclays Banks's CCTV after withdrawing the money. The boyfriend later threatened to thoroughly beat Mrs Milk Chebosisi Sitati her mother, if she should talk of it.

Although he denied ever attempting to assault Mrs Milka. He was released on a SH30,000 cash bail.

However, two of Ms Cherops' brothers pleaded with the court to release her since her mother do not want to see her. Her brothers said she needed to attend college.
